Having worked in many less than well heated shops, I learned a glue-up trick that has kept several projects moving along that otherwise would have languished. The problem is that wood and glue need to be at a minimum temperature to bond properly. Sometimes the wood I was preparing to laminate would be too cold to use. My solution was simply to put the edges I was about to apply the glue to on the radiator. I left them there about 10 minutes and, even though the entire board was not yet up to the proper temperature, I was able to glue and clamp the stock together with good results.
