Q. Corded drill usage
I recently bought a corded drill and am discovering how difficult it is to drive wood screws with a variable-speed drill. (It was much easier with a constant-speed cordless drill.). Now, I have to be extra careful not to break screws by driving them too fast. I would like to find a chuck attachment that would allow me to limit the torque of the drill, similar to the dial adjustments on many cordless drills. Does anyone know if such a "torque-limiter" exists out there?
A. Ellis Walentine: "It's an aftermarket clutch you're looking for, and I don't know of one. Cordless drills are so well suited to driving screws, I think you would be doing yourself a service to own one, if only for that purpose."
