Broccoli stems are usually sold with large, flat rubber bands, which can be used in the shop to add grip to the two parts of a keyless chuck. This is especially useful when chucking large bits such as a Forstner, which have no flats ground into the shaft. - Serge Duclos; Delson, Quebec
